TIPS ON HOW TO SHOOTING A VIDEO
Hello guys! As the title goes, today I'm going to give tips and tricks when shooting a video. The electronic device we used was our own smartphone. Nowadays a lot of people don't know how to shoot a video on their smartphone even the camera was of high quality. But don't worry, here's some tips for amateur videographer.
1. Ready in Landscape mode
A lot of amateur videographers make a common mistake like this. They were used to taking videos on social media and they implement what they did at taking videos too. This is completely wrong with the correct technique. When you taking videos, it's a must for you to take it in landscape mode as you're going to make the video looks fit with your smartphone's view and take care of the resolution of the video itself
2. Tilt-up and Tilt down
This technique just is used if the object was big and you want to take a full view of it. You need to be careful as the motion needs a great technique by yourself. If you don't master the important parts, your footage will be a blur and not like as you want.
3. Rule of Third
Rule of Third basically points you to focus on the object you want. To be easy, you need to make sure what you want in that video. You can see in the image above, it's shown that the husky wolf is looking to the ice surface across the husky wolf. It can be defined as the Rule of Third being implemented here. If the rule was not used, then you don't know what object to be a focus on. This grid usually already built into the smartphone. You need to make research on how to use it depends on what smartphone you used.
4. Avoid 'Zoom In'
5.Slide technique.
This technique has been used on a non-moving object. It's quiet a great technique that need the user's skill itself in order to apply this technique. Make sure you know what the object that you want and decide the angle of slide you want, left to right or right to left. And also make sure your hands were not shaking, too.
